Dryer Vent Cleaning Kit - Removes Dangerous Lint Build Up

If you clean your dryer vent you will reduce the risk of dryer fires. It will also reduce your drying time by allowing the hot humid air to exit the dryer faster. Also cleaning your dryer vent will actually save you money by reducing your drying times.

When you clean your dryer vent, you will increase the life of your dryer because the reduction in drying times will decrease the wear and tear on all the mechanical parts in your dryer.

Dryer vents should be cleaned once a year to prevent a dangerous lint build up that can cause a dryer fire.

If your dryer is running and getting very hot on the top you need to
check for a dryer vent restriction.

Classic signs of a dryer vent restriction are:
Dryer takes too long to dry.
Dryer is hot on top.
Clothes are very hot when you take them out.
Dryer has a lot of moisture / humidity inside when you open the door.
Dryer filter has little or no lint in it.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that in 1998, clothes dryers were associated with 15,600 fires, which resulted in 20 deaths and 370 injuries. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air, cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire in some dryers
